Privacy Policy

Review how FREEPARE handles account data, learning activity, uploaded content, and privacy safeguards, including what is collected, why it is collected, and the choices you have over it. Operated by MultiSpaceAI Technologies. Website www.freepare.com, contact connect@freepare.com, effective 30 September 2026.

1. Scope of this Policy

Freepare is operated by MultiSpaceAI Technologies. That company is the entity responsible for the personal information described in this Policy, and "we", "us" and "our" refer to it throughout. This Privacy Policy explains how Freepare collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use www.freepare.com and related services. This Policy applies to users in India and other locations where the Platform is accessed, subject to applicable law.

2. Age requirement

Freepare is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that personal information of a person under 18 has been collected, we will delete or anonymize it as reasonably practicable.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide directly name, email address, phone number, username, password, and profile details you submit during registration or account updates; academic details such as college, branch, year, interests, targets, or preferences if you choose to provide them; messages, feedback, support requests, or other communications sent to Freepare. Information collected automatically IP address, approximate location, browser type, operating system, device information, and session identifiers; usage information such as pages visited, clicks, timestamps, navigation flow, referrers, and feature interactions; performance data such as mock test attempts, scores, progress, and learning analytics; short-lived activity signals that a learner completed a practice test or downloaded a resume; these signals do not store the learner's name, email, score, college, resume contents, or filename; cookie and similar technology data. Information we generally do not seek government identity documents; financial card or banking details for the current free version of the Platform; special category or highly sensitive personal data unless clearly required and specifically requested for a lawful purpose.

4. How we use information

to create and manage user accounts; to provide learning content, mock tests, dashboards, and personalized study experiences; to show signed-in learners recent activity on the Platform, as described in section 8; to run college leaderboards, give colleges a view of the learners who have chosen them, and show learners how their results compare with other learners', as described in section 8; to analyze usage, improve product quality, and measure performance of features; to maintain security, detect abuse, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot technical problems; to send essential service messages, support responses, and product updates; to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

5. Legal bases and consent

In India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows personal information to be processed with your consent, and for the specific legitimate uses that Act defines, including a purpose for which you have voluntarily provided your information and compliance with a legal obligation. Those are what Freepare relies on. Where the law of another country applies to you, we may also rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Platform, or on performance of a contract with you, as appropriate for the processing activity. By using the Platform and by providing information to us, you acknowledge this Policy. Where consent is required for optional features such as non-essential analytics or communications, we will seek consent through the Platform or another appropriate mechanism. You may withdraw consent where applicable, but this will not affect processing already carried out lawfully before withdrawal.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Freepare uses cookies and similar technologies for core site functionality, session management, security, preferences, analytics, and performance improvement. Strictly necessary cookies may be used without separate consent where permitted because they are required for the Platform to function. Analytics or other non-essential cookies should be treated as optional and may be enabled based on your consent where required by law. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling some cookies may affect Platform functionality.

7. Advertising and advertising cookies

When Freepare serves Google AdSense advertisements, Google and other third-party advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, measure, limit, and personalize ads as permitted by law and your settings. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to Freepare or other websites. You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings or through the choices made available in Freepare's consent flow where applicable.

8. How we share information

Freepare does not sell personal information. We may share information only in the following limited situations: With service providers, advisers and authorities with service providers who help us host, secure, analyze, maintain, or support the Platform and who are bound by contractual or confidentiality obligations; with professional advisers, auditors, or partners when reasonably necessary for lawful business operations; when disclosure is required by law, valid legal process, regulatory request, or to protect rights, safety, and security; in connection with a merger, reorganization, investment, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards where applicable. With your college, if you choose one If you choose a college on your account and that college uses the Freepare College Portal, authorised staff at that college can see your full name, profile photo, degree, class and passing year, when you joined, and when you were last active; your practice streak and longest streak; how many tests you have completed, your average and best accuracy, and your total correct, wrong and unanswered answers; where your accuracy ranks among the college's learners as a percentile, next to the college's median and average; your leaderboard XP, rank and the weeks you took part; and, for each test, its name, when you took it, your correct, wrong and unanswered counts, your accuracy, XP, and whether it counted towards the leaderboard. Staff can see this for every test you took while you had chosen that college, including tests taken before it began using the Portal. Staff may also see your name on lists of learners who have not been active for some time, or whose accuracy has recently improved. College staff cannot see your email address, phone number or other contact details. If the email address you sign in with is on one of your college's own email domains, as that college is recorded on Freepare (for example an address ending in the college's domain), and you have shown that you receive mail at it -- by creating your account with Google on or after 30 September 2026, or by entering a code we sent to it -- staff see you marked as a verified member of it. They see only the mark, never the address. This does not depend on the leaderboard setting described below: turning the leaderboard off does not hide your record from your college's staff, and because staff can see which of your tests counted towards the leaderboard, they can tell whether you have turned it off. If you change your college, the staff of the college you left can no longer open your individual record. If you choose that college again later, they can see the tests you took there before, again. Whether or not your college uses the Portal, Freepare may give a college aggregate figures about the learners who have chosen it, such as how many there are and how many appear on its leaderboard. Weekly totals such as XP are withheld for any week in which fewer than two learners qualified. With other learners who choose your college If you choose a college, you appear on its weekly leaderboard by default. You can turn this off at any time with the "Show me on my college's weekly leaderboard" setting on your account page. The leaderboard can be seen by anyone who has chosen the same college on their Freepare account. Freepare does not verify that they attend it; the verified-member mark described below says only that a learner signs in on one of the college's own email domains and has shown that they receive mail there, and nobody is kept off the leaderboard for not having it. While you appear on it, they can see your display name (the alias you choose, or your first name and the first letter of your surname), your profile photo, an internal account identifier, your weekly XP and the number of tests counted towards it, your current practice streak, when you last submitted a test, your rank, and whether you are marked as a verified member of the college because the email address you sign in with is on one of its own email domains and you have shown that you receive mail at it. The same applies to leaderboards for earlier weeks, which remain viewable. Your college's staff can see the same leaderboards. If you have not chosen an alias, only the first letter of the surname on your account is shown. If your first-name field contains more than your first name, as it can after signing up with Google, all of it is shown; you can change it, or choose an alias, on your account page. An alias is shown exactly as you enter it. Freepare never adds your email address or contact details to the leaderboard. A leaderboard is shown only once at least two learners at the college are eligible to appear on it. Until then, learners who have chosen the college can see how many have qualified so far that week. With other signed-in learners, as recent activity Campus Pulse shows signed-in learners short notes about recent activity on Freepare, such as "Aman completed Logical Reasoning" or "Aman downloaded a resume". Any signed-in learner may see a note about you, whether or not either of you has chosen a college. A note shows only the first word of the first name on your account. It never shows your surname, photo, email address, college, score or answers, or the contents of your resume. A first name is shown only if it is made up of letters, with the accents and vowel signs a name is written with and an apostrophe or hyphen between letters; a first name containing anything else, such as a number, a dot or a symbol, is not shown at all. You can turn your name off at any time with the "Show my first name in live activity" setting on your account page. Your activity is then shown as "A learner on FREEPARE", including activity from before you changed the setting. Section 9 explains how long that activity is kept and when it is shown. As anonymous figures other learners can see My Performance, and the results screen after you finish a test, show each learner how their own results compare with the average of other learners who took the same tests. That average is shown only where at least three other learners took a test, is rounded to whole five-point steps, never names anyone, and never states how many learners it was drawn from.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including account administration, product improvement, security, compliance, and dispute resolution. If you ask us to delete your account, we will aim to delete or anonymize eligible personal information within 30 days of verifying the request, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, needed for security, fraud prevention, backup cycles, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Campus Pulse activity records expire automatically after 48 hours and only activity from the most recent 24 hours may be displayed. The feed remains empty unless at least three distinct eligible learners are present in that 24-hour window.

10. Security

Freepare uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should also use strong passwords and protect your own devices and credentials.

11. International access and transfers

Because users may access Freepare from different countries and our service providers may operate in multiple jurisdictions, personal information may be processed in locations other than your own. Where required, we will take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12. Your choices and rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to ask what personal information of yours we hold, how it is being processed, and who we have shared it with; to have it corrected, completed or updated; to have it erased, subject to the retention exceptions in section 9; to raise a grievance with us about any act or omission of ours in meeting our obligations for your personal information, and not only about how a request was answered; to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to exercise them yourself; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If you are outside India, the law where you live may give you further rights, such as the right to restrict or object to processing, or to receive a copy of your information in a portable form. We will honor those where they apply to you. To exercise a request, contact connect@freepare.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Section 13 explains what to do if a request is refused or goes unanswered.

13. Governing law and grievances

This Policy, and any dispute or claim about how personal information is handled under it, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, without regard to conflict of law rules. Where a dispute reaches a court, the courts at New Delhi, India have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without removing any protection or right available to you under the law of the place where you live. If a request or a complaint has not been resolved to your satisfaction, write to connect@freepare.com and say so, and it will be reviewed again. You keep any right you have to escalate the matter to the data protection authority with jurisdiction over you.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the effective date and post the updated version on the Platform.
